Hello Wild Ones💖💖💖
I hope you are well and that great things are happening for you. My prayer is that you know how awesome you are. I am currently really proud of how awesome I am and the dope things I continue to do.
During my therapy, my therapist got me to analyze all my relationships and the patterns in them. This is how I found that my healthiest relationship was with my brother. My therapist encouraged me to copy the patterns in that relationship. To be honest, I don’t know when my relationship with my brother became so good because, in my childhood, we fought a lot about everything. May be getting all the arguments out of the way is the key. Anyway, some of the key factors in our relationship are:
Boundaries
If there’s a person who is respectful about boundaries , it’s my brother. He is the epitome of boundaries. For Example, He would never touch anything that’s mine without asking. Once he gave me a laptop which I stopped using after a while and he wanted to sell it, he asked for my permission. He also avoids listening to my relationship shenanigans at all costs😂😂😂.
Unconditional
He shows up no matter what. Even when we were kids and we were always fighting, he always showed up. I remember this one time so kid cut my foot with a panga by mistake, he faced the wrath of my big brother.
Trust
I can always trust my brother to keep a secret that I tell them. When I am really struggling, he is among the people that I can trust to talk in confidence.
Growth
My brother sees my potential for greatness and doesn’t even let me dare put myself down even in a joke. He is always ready to give a whole inspirational speech if I look like I am giving up. When I aim for a five, he says that I am capable of getting a ten.
Empathy
My brother always seeks to empathize and understand where I am coming from. When I was really struggling in school after moving to Rwanda, it took his empathy and courage to survive.
Honesty
My brother tells it like it is. He is not afraid to voice his opinion. When I need someone to tell me the truth, I go to him.
Do you have a relationship that is the epitome of healthy relationships? What are the signs?

For me it would be Reciprocity. It doesn’t always feel like am the only one trying like some relationships leave me feeling.
I love this. Reciprocity is very important. Thank you for reading.
This is so beautiful. I’ve been evaluating my relationships for a while now cause they were failing. But honest genuine communication is a start for me and it’s changing my experience. The relationship with myself is the epitome of healthy. I’ve been so kind and gentle and honest and understanding of myself and it’s helping with my relationship with other people.
Wooow, A relationship with yourself is a great place to start. To know yourself like that is just beautiful. I hope to get there with myself.
I know you will
These are all great things to say about your brother. Hope my sisters can say the same about me.🤣
I hope so too.🧡🧡
