Today’s Commercial Break
I came up with a random idea to do a Q/A where I got more questions that I expected. At first, I wanted to divide the questions but then I realized I would never get around to doing these questions once I start the series that I am planning to do. So here goes a long post.
Looks like there are people who are really interested in my love life🤣🤣🤣 ( Sorry it’s not as interesting). I decided to put these questions together since the theme is the same. No, I am not dating and I don’t plan to for a very long time (But I do have a huge crush on someone). As for the kind of partner I want (well this is deep) I would say someone who understands the music of my soul and loves it is all I want.
Interesting question, I actually think I would make a great cult leader but that’s a story for another day. As for the conspiracy, it would probably be something that could lead to world dominance or a dictatorship regime.
The first time I started a blog was to explore my faith back in 2016 (I still marvel at my innocence when I read those articles). My sister just suggested I try using WordPress and it worked out just fine.
I think what makes me is my wild imagination. My imagination has me believing in things most people wouldn’t. It has me telling the most interesting stories and daring to imagine the best out of everyone which in the past has put me in hot oil. I have the most intense maladaptive daydreaming and I think this is what has kept from going insane and keeps my hope high. When things are bad, I have the most vivid good fantasies and it helps a lot. The only downside if I decide to have dark thoughts, it’s so hard to leave the rabbit hole.
I get this question a lot🤣🤣🤣. All I can say from your mouth to God’s ears. May be they pay me one day.
Myself. My persistence. I believe that no matter what even when it’s really dark, I will survive. I have my own back no matter what.
Favourite Book– Defining Decade by Meg Jay
Favourite Song– Ngeke Balunge by Mafikizolo (Lemme get a man and I am going to force him to learn this song)
Favourite Season– Cold season. I wanted to say winter but Kenya doesn’t have that.
Favourite Place I like to visit– I love visiting rivers, they give a sense of liberation in a weird way.
What is the one thing you would do again and again just to make it to life to the life you want to live? I show up for myself and dreams daily.
How would you define happiness– Happiness is being able to appreciate the small things.
What’s your favourite hangout place in Kenya– Kilimanjaro Jamia hotel… I love food and Kilimanjaro Jamia Hotel is really dope.
Why did you start your blog? Because I wanted to write about my feelings.
What are your hobbies? Writing, watching movies, dancing, eating
If you were to change something about the world, what would it be? Discrimination
Do you think we’ll ever get good leaders in our country We can only keep faith
Do you have any creative ways of expressing yourself? if so, which ones? I think I am a very creative person, I think I would any kind of art if I wanted to. It just come naturally to me.
Do you think being the bigger person is beneficial for you? Like, do you think the bigger person is affected by whatever it is that she is being mature about? I have a bad relationship with the idea of being a bigger person because whenever someone is telling me to be a bigger person, they often invalidating my feelings. I think it could be beneficial but be careful not to go back to a toxic situation and invalidating your feelings in the name of keeping the peace.
Do you believe in Religion? Afterlife? I believe in God and afterlife too, although, I really struggle with religion in general. I don’t talk about it because people tend to get so offended when you talk about your struggles. It always feels like you attacked them even though all you did was talk about your own struggles.
Are you in school? What are you studying? I am student at African Leadership University studying entrepreneurship.
I think that creating conversations about mental health is important. It allows people to know they are not alone. I have had people approach me and tell me that they are happy, they found my blog because it helped them.
The only tip I try to live by is be authentic, never dilute your story for anything.
What was the most interesting answer?
