Y for You

Hello Wild Ones 🌺,

I hope you are well and doing well. I am full of serenity and grace with what life has offered. I am also thankful for my journey and the people in my life.

You

I was drowning and couldn’t catch a breath

You didn’t even try to save me

I wasn’t looking for a savior

And you never offered to be one

You just swam around my chaos

With shots of the lamest jokes

Enough to make me want live another day

I just had to hear better jokes

I am a sucker for lost courses

I had to learn to swim

Otherwise the world would suffer immensely from your poor joking skills

And for that I am thankful, stranger

You are the silver lining in my dark cloud

With love and loooove,

Jackie

I love reading and understanding new perspectives as much as making bad jokes. It’s the most sincere way of expressing interest and creativity. In my reading, I’ve learnt to respect what’s agreed upon unanimously and upvoted as a phylosophic statement despite having my own disparate opinion. Most of the time we can only save ourselves. The people we give so much power to save us may as well choose to drown us. Don’t mistake it for trust issues but I see it as human weakness to give up power to another human. Don’t just learn to swim, be the shark much more storms will come; the day you gain the courage we shall have the conversation. ~ Another Stranger
