Z for Zen- I found my zen!!!!

Hello Wild Ones ❤️️❤️️,

I hope you are well and doing great things for yourself. I hope you are taking care of yourselves. Remember that self care is important!!! I hope yoy know that you are awesome and you deserve the best love. I am full of happiness and peace as I write this. When I am really happy I have this feeling that my sugar levels are high and in a weird way I smell honey just like that. (This is probably I eat sweet things when I am sad).

This is the end of the challenge!! I am full of gratitude for the growth that I gained from this. I feel better in my skin. I was able to address certain issues that I didn’t even know that I needed to deal with. I connected with people who now make me want to blog daily. I feel like I literally came out of myself and spent the past 26 days praising myself. I feel so nice. It’s the best feeling in the world. It’s like I found my freedom. I don’t know what you got from this challenge but if you didn’t get anything, I would like to recommend that you take pictures daily and admire yourself. You will fall in love with yourself!! Anyway let’s get to it!!!

Throughout the series, I kept talking about the need to see your pain for what it is and not pushing aside. I emphasized this but I never offered ways in which you can deal with the pain and the pressure. Well, first of all I am no therapist but I have been face to face with pain and not know what I wanted to do with it. This is how I wound up using hot wax to refocus my pain but this is not a healthy way to deal with pain. The journey to recovery is long and needs a lot of support, patience and work. You might have to try a lot of activities before you find that one activity that keeps you going. You can start by trying to writing and seeing how you feel after writing. You can be very intentional about how your energy levels are before you start the activity and how they are when you finish. This will help you decide which activities in your life help you deal with stuff better. The past two months this is what I have been doing. I have figured the people that I shouldn’t be around or what activities work for me. I have been recording who increases my vibes and what activities improve my mood. This is how I found my zen. I just figured out what I should do when I feel sad and how I scream without really screaming. It’s my hope that you also find the kind of zen and peace that I have in my soul right now.

Anyway what I am wearing:

  • My 4c hair in afro
  • A lot of lip gloss
  • Big hoop earrings
  • Maasai sandals
  • My peyote beads
  • My waist bead

I felt all these..you know at times I stop amidst reading and wonder why I relate with just every not of word you put out here..I also found my zen and honestly..everything you’ve said about pain and recovery is true..it takes time..a long time..and before we even know what activity is needed..we might be desperate..really desperate to eradicate it that we decide to try as many ways..even those that are very bad..but well we never lose to get the one activity and just like you said..after we get it..its an awesome feeling 😭😭❤❤❤…ooh God..lemme stop talking coz I dont think I’m gonna finish soon😪
